Farmora ("we", "our", "us") provides a mobile application for farm record-keeping and profit tracking. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you register.
• Farm records: batches, entries, expenses, sales, and mortality records you enter into the app.
• Team information: if you use Farm Boss features, the email addresses of staff you invite, and their role/location assignments.
• Waitlist email: if you ask to be notified when Farmora launches, the address you give us — used only to tell you when the app is available.

How we use this information

We use your information solely to provide the app's functionality: storing your farm records, calculating your profit and loss, syncing your data across your devices, and enabling team features for Farm Boss accounts. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase, a secure cloud infrastructure provider. Inside the app, access to your farm's financial and operational data is restricted by role — only you, and staff you explicitly invite, can open your farm's records there, and access is limited by location assignment where applicable.

Behind the app, a small Farmora team keeps the service running, and that requires the same kind of access any software provider needs to support its users — for example, to fix a sync issue, investigate a billing question, or resolve a bug you have reported. We only look at your account data when it is the only way to help with something like that, never to browse, share, or use your farm records for any other purpose.

Third-party services

We use Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and app functionality. If you contact support, your message may be processed to assist you.

AI-powered location analysis

If you use the Locations analysis feature, Farmora sends figures for the locations you select to Google's Gemini AI model (via Google Cloud Vertex AI) to generate a written summary comparing their performance. This includes each location's sales, expenses, and net; how spending and sales break down by category and as percentages; any discounts given; the number of batches and, for up to five per location, each batch's own sales, expenses, and net; the location and batch names; and the period covered. This data is processed solely to produce the analysis shown to you and is not used by Google to train its models. We recommend avoiding sensitive or identifying information in location and batch names, since this data is included in the request sent to Google's service.
